St James Woodside Vicar Reverend Richard Dimery
Our Vicar Richard
Dimery is married to Sarah and they have two young children. They moved
to NW Leeds from Farnley in the summer of 2008. Before coming to St
James, Richard spent four years as Curate at Christ Church in Armley,
and he used to work for St George's in Leeds city centre.Richard loves film, TV and is a keen reader. He has a heart for helping churches engage with their local community and think creatively about issues such as poverty and the environment. He wants St James to be a church which is passionate about worshipping God and making him known; a warm and loving extended family that cares for each other and their community; and a group of followers of Jesus learning to be the people God created them to be, being transformed over time to be more like Jesus.
