Alpha Course

Each new year we run a course exploring the basics of Christian faith to help people grow in their understanding of God and what it means to live as a Christian.

‘Alpha’ is a course that helps us think about questions such as ‘who is Jesus?’, ‘Why did Jesus die?’ and ‘How does God guide us?’ We share a meal together, watch a short video, and then have an informal discussion.

This is a course where any question is allowed, and there is always a mix of people: some who are interested in faith or new to faith, and some who have been at church a while but want a refresher on why they believe what they believe about God.

Dates / times: 7 sessions before the Easter holidays on Monday evenings, beginning 6th February, 7.30-9.30pm. After the Easter Holidays the remaining sessions will follow for those who would like to continue. But don’t worry about the length of the course for now – just come to the first session and see what you think!

If you want to know more see Richard or Nick, or look out for flyers in church over the Christmas and New Year period.
